Save the Bees was created by Zoe Husted, Jade Jordan. and Elena Murphy as their final project for the Girls Who Code summer immersion program hosted by Expedia in 2015.
The game was made to raise awareness of the declining bee population and the devastating effects that will result from the extinction of bees.

| Zoe is a junior from San Diego. She spent 7 weeks of her summer away from home to create this game so hopefully it's worth playing. #savethebees #girlscan | Jade is a senior from Washington state. She spent the summer of 2015 learning about coding and is proud to share the first functioning game she's created. | Elena is a senior in Seattle who spends so much time playing video games anyways, she figured she might like to help make one. #winning |
